President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with the King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Warmly greeting each other, the Head of Turkmenistan and the King of Bahrain expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to exchange opinions on conditions and perspective Turkmen – Bahraini dialog as we as to discuss some aspects of international politics.
The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the King of Bahrain on sacred Muslim holiday of Eid Al Adha, which embodies high moral values, having wished him strong health and happiness and peace, wealth and prosperity to the people of friendly country.
During the conversation, Turkmen leader and the King of Bahrain have given high appraisal to interstate dialog, which received new content in modern historical age. Having confirmed mutual commitment of Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain to the course to further development of the partnership, the sides specified its key vectors in the context of agreements reached earlier and perspectives of expansion of cooperation in trade and economic, humanitarian and cultural fields.
It was highlighted that Turkmen – Bahraini relations, which were initially built on the principles of equality and mutual respect, are actively developed in all directions.
Continuing the conversation, the Head of Turkmenistan and the King of Bahrain exchanged the opinions of current subjects of regional and global problems. In this context, the subject of spread of new coronavirus, which has covered wide geographic space and makes negative impact on life of many countries and people, has been highlighted.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that Turkmenistan supports efforts of the world community in combating against COVID-19 pandemic and stands for development of agreed measures for successful counteraction against this dangerous threat.
In the end of the conversation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa have exchanged good wishes on occasion of Eid Al Adha, having addressed wishes of peace, goodness and prosperity to fraternal nations.
